Over 300 fires burning in Florida

I usuallly find free clip art and this one is free I just has to add the image creator. I thought it was cute and also a true discripion of how we feel living right now in Jacksonville. It seems the storms we had the other night started up more wild fires but the smoke in the marina is coming from the massive fire that has scorched more than 100.000 acres in the Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge in Georgia. That fire has now crossed into Florida.  The city of Jacksonville issued an air quality advisory Tuesday afternoon because the smoke from the massive wildfires shrouded the area with a thick haze.  According to the news this morning visibility at the Jacksonville International Airport was down to one-quarter mile. According to city records, this is the worst air quality measured in Jacksonville since 1998 and city officials are urgeing  children, the elderly and sensitive individuals to take steps to avoid exposure by staying inside. Temperatures are supose to reached 100 degrees today and the humidity is already high.

Smoke over downtown Jacksonville

Our boat is covered in ash after Rich just washed and waxed it Sunday

Okay enough about the weather it is starting to get depressing. It is a little hard trying to get creative when your boat is sitting at the dock with a blanket of smoke hiding our sunshine.  It is time for me to praise the Lord for all His wonderful blessings in my life. Please fell free to join in with me and let us Praise our Glorious Savior togeather.  http://youtu.be/CEtsHWFE6-w    http://youtu.be/aEmyiOM9Sa4
After listening to that beautiful song from Alan Jackson my heart is uplifted and I hope yours is too. Have a beautiful day.
